<hr /></p><p></p><p>Jane Lucia Ricks, 74, Belton, died Feb. 24, 2010.</p><p>She was the daughter of Francis and Maria Josephia Forzani of England, both deceased.</p><p>She was born in Great Yarmouth, England. Jane was educated in England. She married Alvester M. Ricks on March 16, 1959, who was in the Air Force and came to the United States in 1970. They moved to Belton in 1972 and lived here until her death.</p><p>She was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Ricks; and a sister, Batisa Forzani, England.</p><p>She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, SMSgt. (Ret) Alvester M. Ricks, of the home; three daughters, Julie Halifax (David), England, Gina King (Darryl), Columbus Junction, Iowa, and Carolyn “Curly” Lakey (Rick), Belton; three grandchildren, Tristan Ricks, Belton, Matthew Byous (Laura), Las Vegas, and Rebecca Halifax, England; her sisters, Toni Johnson (Sonny), England, and Monica Sawyer (Jim), England; her brothers Freddie Forzani (Sarah), Joey Forzani (Barbara), Carlo Forzani, Johnny Forzani (Maria), Andrew Forzani and Alfie Forzani, all of England.</p><p>Viewing and services were Feb. 27 at the Belton Presbyterian Church. Burial followed in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City.</p><p>In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to KC Hospice in memory of Jane Ricks and a special “Thank You” to those who have cared for her throughout her illness.
